Product Description

We all need to practice good oral hygiene but those in our care may not be able to do this for many different reasons. You will explore this in detail throughout the course as well as identify the actions you can take to ensure those in your care live happier lives thanks to good oral hygiene. By the end of the course you will:

  • Be able to define oral hygiene and identify at risk groups
  • Understand the impact of poor oral hygiene
  • Identify NICE and CQC guidelines
  • Understand how to conduct an oral health assessment
  • Recognise the connections between oral health and mental health.
Students can access the Oral Hygiene online course material 24 hours per day, seven days per week. When you pass the final assessment required at the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion to showcase your newfound knowledge of Oral Hygiene.
