It is useful for all of us to have a greater understanding of dementia, and how to support those with condition. By the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Identify the signs and symptoms of dementia
  • Explain how memory and the five senses can be affected by dementia
  • Describe how to give person-centred care
  • Make modifications to better support someone with dementia
Students can access the Dementia Awareness online course material 24 hours per day, seven days per week. When you pass the final assessment required at the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion to showcase your newfound knowledge of Dementia Awareness.
