This course has been designed to enable you to understand the key elements of fire safety and being a fire warden. You will learn:
How fires start and spread
Fire prevention methods
Firefighting equipment, including fire extinguishers
What to do in the event of a fire, including the fire evacuation and assembly points.
By the end of this course you will understand the roles and responsibilities of a fire warden.
We all learn at different speeds and you should allow approximately 1 hour to complete the course
At the end of the course is an assessment containing 15 questions. You must answer 12 of 15 questions correctly to pass. If you fail to answer all questions correctly, you will be given the opportunity to try again. Upon successful completion of the assessment you will be able to access your certificate.
You do not need to complete the course in full in one sitting. If you exit a chapter part way through, you will be able to return to the same point when you next log in.
In this fire safety awareness course you will learn about how fire starts and spreads, how to reduce fire related incidents and explore various pieces of fire fighting equipment and the types of fires they are designed to tackle.
You must pass the assessment at the end of the course to receive your certificate.
